Seguimiento de medicamentos
WhatMeds immediately and securely retrieves and organizes all your prescribed medications from Medicare to create one concise medication list for you to have on your phone at all times to share with a clinician. The app provides you with all the important medication details: name and dose, prescribing physician name, their specialty and contact information, dispensing pharmacy, original prescription date and refills. You can mark up any medication you no longer take and record any side-effects you noticed.
For each medication you take, WhatMeds provide you a detailed medication description, why it is prescribed, how to take it, potential side effects and warnings in plain English or Spanish from MedlinePlus of the National Library of Medicine. WhatMeds also provides you with safety warnings for medications that contain Opioids which can result in addiction, identifies medications with potentially severe drug-drug interactions, and indicates medications which are usually inappropriate for those 65 and older. These safety
warnings and the MedlinePlus information help ensure that you and your doctor can work together to ensure that you receive the best possible care. -
