FHIRedApp puts patients in control of their health records - no portals, no clipboards. Verify your identity (IAL2/ID.me), retrieve records from your regional HIE or CMS-Aligned Network, and choose exactly what to share with any provider via an encrypted QR code or SMART Health Link. A patientaccessible audit log shows who accessed your data, when, and why. Developers can also partner with Connxus to deploy plugin apps that, with patient consent, securely extend FHIRedApp.

Sus datos que utiliza la aplicación

FHIRedApp accesses a beneficiary's clinical health records through the Connxus Health Information Exchange (HIE), a CMS-Aligned Network, using secure, standards-based FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) APIs. The information includes records such as medications, health conditions and diagnoses, allergies, lab and test results, vital signs, immunizations, visits, and procedures, along with basic demographic and insurance coverage information. This information is used to give the beneficiary a clear, consolidated view of their own health records and to let them share those records — only when they choose to — with a provider or with an app they select. The app keeps as little information as possible: rather than copying records onto the device, FHIRedApp stores a secure link between the beneficiary's verified account and their records in the HIE, and retrieves the records only when the beneficiary views or shares them. Privacy and security are central. Before any records are shared, the beneficiary's identity is verified through a trusted, secure identity service (IAL2), so there are no portals or passwords to manage. Information is encrypted while stored and while it travels over the internet, in line with HIPAA standards. Sharing is always patient-directed: the beneficiary decides what to share and with whom, can see a history of who accessed their data, and can turn off access at any time. FHIRedApp never sells beneficiary information.

Características clave

  • Gestión de medicamentos

FHIRedApp brings a beneficiary's health records together in one secure application — medications, conditions, allergies, lab results, vital signs, immunizations, visits, and procedures. Records are pulled from the beneficiary's health information network, so there is no need to log in to separate hospital or clinic portals. The information is organized into clear categories that are easy to browse and search. This gives beneficiaries an up-to date picture of their health that they own and control.

  • Seguimiento de medicamentos

FHIRedApp gives beneficiaries an up-to date view of their medications, drawn directly from their health records. Each medication is shown with details such as name, dosage, and status, so beneficiaries can keep an accurate, current list. Recent medications are also surfaced on the home screen for quick reference. Having an accurate medication list in one application helps beneficiaries review what they are taking and share it with their providers, rather than relying on memory at appointments.

  • Intercambio de información con cuidadores o proveedores

FHIRedApp lets beneficiaries securely share their health records with a provider or caregiver in seconds. The beneficiary chooses exactly which categories of information to share, then generates an encrypted QR code (a SMART Health Link) that the provider scans at the point of care. This replaces repetitive paper intake forms and manual re-entry of medical history. Shared links are time-limited and scan limited, and the beneficiary can see who accessed their data and revoke access at any time.
